We’re back from our recent trip to Bandung, Indonesia, with great news. First of all, Fi and I finally met after a year of not seeing each other ❤ This means that the site is back and alive, with new additions and improvements. Expect more as we reach the end of 2015 and as we both explore more places for you.
Now, one of our latest discoveries was Rumah Mode Factory Outlet in Bandung, Indonesia. It’s a shopping destination known for providing items from previous seasons at lower prices than the original items when they were first launched. Apart from being a shopping destination, it is also a well-known tourist spot.
Apart from the fashion items, Rumah Mode has their own cafe/restaurant in the premises as well as a souvenir shop that sells traditional souvenirs from Bandung and food from various Indonesian cities. The sections are divided into three buildings which are connected by small patios.
The eating spaces in Rumah Mode features nostalgic furniture pieces in soft tones, complete with old ceramic tiles to divide the spaces. They provide Indonesian and international cuisine, but I recommend the Indonesian cuisine so as to get the ambiance of the whole traditional theme. The patios feature natural stone while lush plants decorate the whole area, giving a fresh air to the shopping complex.
The floors feature tiles that are either vintage or arrange to look like batik, so be sure to watch out for them!
