So when we decide to finally meet in Bandung, we couldn’t decide where should we go to. It is difficult due to a fact that Bandung is heaven for good foods and chill places! But we finally came to the decisions to try this “currently in” unique café in Ciumbuleuit, called Miss Bee Providore!
We read a lot of good reviews about this café/restaurants both of their nice and affordable foods and very homey ambience. What can I say more? I think those reviews are totally right. I personally love the vibe here, even when it seems crowded but it’s not that “noisy” annoying kind of crowded restaurants. Uh huh.. At some particular hours, you might need to make a reservation or get ready to be on the waiting list (like we did). So, try to call before coming down? But worry not, even if you ended up waiting, you’ll definitely get distracted by the green views, and classy interior designs (which San will do an in-depth post on it YEAY!) and endless photo-taking spots, which is a good thing 🙂
The restaurant is divided into two sections; the glass house and a house (like, literally a detached type of house). Filled with cute little details in many spots, adds something special to this place. They also have a big front yard/mini garden that has a mini playground (swings and seesaw) and a rabbit garden/area (?). Too bad, when we were there, the rabbits were in their cages instead. Maybe it was their resting time. 😛
We were lucky enough to be able to dine inside the glass house. Though the other building was equally good, we’d prefer the green view!
San and I decided to “share” our food, ordering one main dish, one big dessert, and two drinks on top of some sides for all of us. I chose the Salmon Lasagna, San chose the Nuttela waffle.
We both love love love the Salmon Lasagna. It was different for me as what they have in Lasagna usually beef or minced chicken. The minced salmon making it feels light and not boring especially with its great seasoning plus a drizzle of lemon juice = YUM!
I personally think it would be better if the waffle was slightly crispy-er but it was okay! We both ordered mocktails for drinks, and both were so refreshing.
Overall, I personally think that this is a great place to spend the day hanging out/ catching up with friends. Definitely need a transport to come here, but other than that : great vintage homey restaurant/café with affordable price foods and drinks, and photo spots! A must visit when you’re in Bandung.
Stay tune for San’s post on their interior which is equally special!
